A fatal collision involving two trucks and a car has caused significant traffic disruptions on the A-120 and M-10 highways in the Tosnensky district of the Leningrad region. The accident occurred at the interchange of the two federal highways.
The driver of the Suzuki died at the scene. Rescuers had to extricate both the deceased and a living injured party from the wreckage.
The collision involved Isuzu, Suzuki, and Volvo vehicles on the M-10 “Russia” highway, near its intersection with the A-120 “St. Petersburg Southern Semi-Ring” highway. The driver of the Isuzu sustained injuries.
Photos from the scene show extensive damage, with the cabin of one of the trucks severely damaged. Rescuers extricated the injured driver and transferred them to ambulance personnel. The deceased was handed over to the police.
According to traffic data, the accident is causing delays at the interchange of the two highways and on the A-120 road. Traffic flow on the M-10 itself remains unobstructed.
