Parking fees in St. Petersburg’s most congested areas may soon rise to 360 rubles. City departments are reportedly considering this price increase.
A base rate of 200 rubles is under discussion. The final parking fee will depend on street congestion levels.
Streets with less than 50% occupancy will have the lowest rate of 100 rubles, mirroring the current city-wide rate. Occupancy rates between 50% and 70% will incur the base rate of 200 rubles. Parking in areas with 70% to 85% occupancy will cost 280 rubles.
Previously calculated tariff grids, based on the transport committee’s methodology, estimated prices ranging from 75 to 380 rubles. The maximum possible tariff in St. Petersburg was recently raised to approximately 390 rubles.
Sources emphasize that these calculations are still in progress. The parking management center recently contracted an individual entrepreneur to analyze pricing within the paid parking zone.
