A 52-year-old motorcyclist is in serious condition after a collision with a car in St. Petersburg. The accident occurred at 8:03 PM on June 8th at the intersection of the Fontanka embankment and Voznesensky Prospekt.

The motorcyclist sustained a car accident injury, chest and pelvic injuries, and a bruised lung and was immediately hospitalized.

According to eyewitness reports, the car was traveling along Voznesensky Prospekt towards the Izmailovsky Bridge and attempted to make a left turn, colliding with the motorcycle which was traveling straight off the bridge.

The incident was captured on dashcam footage. Authorities arrived on the scene to process the accident, and the motorcycle was taken away. Initial reports suggest that while the motorcyclist’s injuries are serious, they are not considered critical.
