A fire broke out at the “Semenovsky Passage” shopping center in eastern Moscow, causing the evacuation of approximately 30 people. The blaze, which affected 100 square meters of the ventilated facade, prompted a response from the Moscow Emergency Situations Ministry.

The incident occurred at Bolshaya Semenovskaya, 49A, with smoke visible from surrounding areas. Firefighters are currently working to fully extinguish the localized fire.

Prior to the arrival of emergency services, individuals inside the two-story building were able to evacuate independently. No casualties have been reported at this time.

Area residents have noted a strong odor in the vicinity. Due to the emergency situation, Projected Passage No. 64 was temporarily closed to traffic, according to the transport department.
