Church services are central to the celebration. The festivities began the night before, and the Divine Liturgy, featuring prayers to the Holy Trinity, is being held today. A distinctive element of the service is kneeling, with believers kneeling for the first time since Easter to offer specific prayers for the descent of the Holy Spirit.

Temples are adorned with green branches, flowers, and fresh grass, symbolizing renewal and life. Priests are wearing green vestments, reflecting the holiday’s association with greenery. Parishioners are greeting each other and exchanging holiday wishes. The icon of the Holy Trinity is prominently displayed in the church, where worshippers approach it. Following the church service, families and friends traditionally gather for a celebratory meal.
