Errol Musk, the father of Elon Musk, has arrived in Russia to participate in the “Future Forum 2050,” where he is listed as a speaker. The forum is expected to draw over 7,500 participants.
Errol Musk, an engineer, businessman, and gem dealer, will be among notable figures such as Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, actor Stas Yarushin, Archpriest Andrei Tkachev, host Ekaterina Andreeva, and British politician George Galloway.
During a conversation with Izvestia journalists, Errol Musk addressed his son’s recent dispute with Donald Trump, attributing it to stress and fatigue. He believes the conflict is minor and temporary, predicting Trump’s eventual victory as president.
Errol Musk suggested the disagreements stem from Elon Musk’s reluctance to support Democratic ideas, while Trump is compelled to do so for political gain. The tension between Musk and Trump arose after the former stepped down as a US government advisor and criticized the Republican budget proposal.
Trump responded by threatening to restrict Musk’s access to government contracts. Subsequently, Elon Musk posted on X (formerly Twitter) mentioning Donald Trump’s name in connection with documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, who faced accusations of sex crimes against minors and prostitution. He later deleted the post.
