A 37-year-old BMW motorcycle driver died in a crash in St. Petersburg’s Kalininsky district on the night of June 8th. The accident also left his 43-year-old passenger injured.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:30 AM near house number 7 on Repninskaya Street. CCTV footage captured the motorcycle colliding with a pole, causing both the driver and passenger to be thrown from the vehicle.

The driver died at the scene of the accident. The injured passenger was transported to a hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries is currently being evaluated.

The Kalininsky District Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
