A 78-year-old woman died after being struck by a car in Yekaterinburg near 1 Titova Street. The accident occurred as the woman was crossing the road in an undesignated area.

The driver of the Renault Logan, a 45-year-old man, struck the woman, causing severe injuries.

The elderly woman died at the scene before medical personnel arrived.

Traffic police are currently investigating the incident at the location. The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds pedestrians that crossing the road is only permitted in designated areas, and individuals should ensure they are being yielded to before crossing.
