Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 61 Ukrainian drones over eight regions between 11:00 PM Moscow time on June 7th and 7:30 AM Moscow time on June 8th, according to the Ministry of Defense. Drone attacks continued into the morning of June 8th, resulting in casualties and infrastructure damage.
Fixed-wing UAVs were shot down over the Bryansk, Belgorod, Kaluga, Tula, Oryol, Kursk, Moscow regions, and the Republic of Crimea overnight.

Belgorod region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that an FPV drone attacked a truck in the Tserkovny farmstead of the Belgorod district, wounding the driver, who was then hospitalized.
The head of the Oryol region, Andrei Klychkov, stated that nine drones were shot down over the region, with fragments damaging three residential buildings and a gas pipeline section.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that ten drones were shot down over the capital between 3:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
