Novosibirsk authorities are cracking down on illegal parking, with approximately 1,500 violations recorded since the beginning of the year using smart tablets across the city. Despite these efforts, many drivers continue to disregard parking regulations, leading to obstructions and inconveniences for pedestrians and other motorists.
One notable instance involved a Toyota RAV4 driver who parked on the grass near the sidewalk on Sibiryakov-Gvardeytsev Street. The vehicle, bearing Kemerovo license plates, is reportedly registered to a 43-year-old individual named Andrey Viktorovich K., who shares the name of a director at a local freight transportation company. The reason behind the parking choice remains unknown.
Another driver parked a Nissan Patrol directly on a lawn near a residential building on Michurin Street. Similarly, the owner of a Toyota Carina also chose to park on the same lawn on a different day. This particular lawn seems to attract parking offenders. The identities of these car owners are currently unknown.
Further violations include a Suzuki Grand Vitara driver who parked on the sidewalk near a residential building on Sibiryakov-Gvardeytsev Street, partially blocking pedestrian access. The vehicle is registered to 65-year-old Valery Viktorovich Sh., but further details about the individual are unavailable. The driver clearly disregarded pedestrian safety.
On the same street, but near house number 32, a Ford Focus driver parked on the sidewalk. While the car did obstruct part of the walkway, the driver did leave some space for pedestrians to pass. The car belongs to 43-year-old Maria Vladimirovna G., who was once the founder of a now-defunct equipment trading and plastering company.
