The “Alexander’s Road” historical reenactment festival is set to take place on August 9th in the village of Samolva, Gdovsky district. Admission to the festival is free for all visitors.
The festival promises a variety of attractions, including spectacular knightly duels, a craft fair offering leather goods and replicas of historical weapons, and live music.
Guests can also enjoy equestrian competitions on the main stage, showcasing riders’ weapon handling skills, trick riding abilities, and various trick riding elements. An open-air historical camp will feature reenactors from different Russian cities, providing insight into historical life. A dedicated playground will offer mock battles and folk games for children, ensuring entertainment for all ages.
