Three senior citizens, Lyudmila Kalashnikova, Natalya Platonova, and Nikolai Bulanovich, are gaining recognition for their roles as hosts in two popular Tyumen establishments: “Rusty Grandfather” and Granny’s Bar. These individuals, with diverse backgrounds, bring a unique and welcoming atmosphere to the bars.

The trio greets guests, shares stories, and offers heartfelt conversations, becoming a defining feature of the establishments and setting a positive tone for the evening. Their presence has been so impactful that they were honored as national heroes at the 72.RU People’s Award ceremony.

Lyudmila Kalashnikova previously worked in a hotel owned by Roman Abramovich. Natalya Platonova is able to afford extended vacations. Nikolai Bulanovich holds a degree in veterinary medicine. Despite their varied pasts, they now contribute to the vibrant social scene in Tyumen through their roles in the bars.
