The “Movement” festival, a large-scale celebration of motorcycle culture, music, and sports, has commenced in Yekaterinburg and Verkhnyaya Pyshma. The event began with a motorcycle rally featuring dozens of bikers riding from the museum complex in Verkhnyaya Pyshma to the main square of Yekaterinburg.
The head of the Sverdlovsk region, Denis Pasler, attended the festival’s opening, emphasizing the event’s connection to the 80th anniversary of Victory. Pasler highlighted the historical significance of the Ural motorcycles, noting their direct involvement in past conflicts and their continued relevance to current tasks facing the Sverdlovsk region.
Yekaterinburg Mayor Alexey Orlov also participated in the motorcycle rally, fulfilling a promise made at last year’s organizing committee. Orlov acknowledged the biker community’s support for participants in the special military operation, and a minute of silence was held to honor those killed in action.
The festival, taking place on June 7 and 8, offers a diverse program across approximately 20 venues. Attendees can enjoy athlete demonstrations, contests, master classes, a water show, and concerts by well-known performers. Dakar Rally winner Sergey Karyakin is also present at the event.
