The Russian government has allocated an additional 33 million rubles to aid residents of the Kursk region. This decision, announced on June 7th, aims to provide financial assistance to those affected in the region.
As per the President’s decision, each person will receive a payment of 10,000 rubles. The funds have been sourced from the government’s reserve fund.
This allocation will provide financial support to over 3,000 individuals. The announcement comes after previous aid packages for the Kursk and Belgorod regions.
In late May, almost 500 million rubles were allocated to support the Kursk and Belgorod regions. Prior to that, in April, 16 billion rubles were designated for Kursk region residents.
Earlier this year, in February, the government allocated 44 billion rubles to support residents of the Kursk region who had lost their homes. This decision was expected to benefit over 112,000 citizens.
Furthermore, on March 13th, the government announced the allocation of 2.5 billion rubles to support affected enterprises in the Kursk region.
