Tatiana Drubich, the renowned actress, celebrates her 65th birthday today. Despite her age, she continues to captivate with her beauty and grace, enhanced by wisdom and experience.
Drubich’s career began at 13, prior to her famous role in “One Hundred Days After Childhood”. Director Sergei Solovyov initially had doubts about casting her, but his skepticism soon turned into admiration. Their professional relationship blossomed into a personal one, although Solovyov initially dissuaded her from pursuing acting full-time, suggesting she study medicine instead.
Drubich balanced her acting career with her work as a doctor. She worked at a homeopathic polyclinic in Moscow, seeing patients and prescribing treatments while also managing to film movies during her time off. This dual career path eventually led her to transition away from the polyclinic in the early 90s.
In the business world, Drubich found success in sterilizing surgical instruments, a venture that provided her with financial stability. More recently, she has entrusted the business to external management to focus on her family and philanthropic endeavors.
Drubich’s daughter, Anna, followed in her parents’ artistic footsteps, becoming a successful composer in Hollywood. Anna’s work includes scoring films and television series, earning her accolades such as the BMI Film Music Award and Nika Awards. Drubich’s younger daughter, Maria, has chosen a more private life.
For the past twenty years, Drubich has dedicated much of her time to the Vera Hospice Assistance Fund, where she serves as co-chair of the board of trustees. She considers this work essential, believing that everyone deserves to maintain their dignity until the very end.
