St. Petersburg Weekend Events June 6-8 **ST. PETERSBURG is preparing for a weekend of diverse cultural and entertainment events from June 6-8.** The city will host everything from art exhibitions and theater performances to music concerts and outdoor festivals.

A rowing festival will take place on June 7, starting from Ladoga Lake and ending at the Peter and Paul Fortress to honor Peter the Great’s birthday. The festival includes races involving various types of boats and a contest for homemade vessels called “Comical Fleet”.

The Pavlovsk Museum-Reserve will host the “Lilac Promenade” on June 7-8, where attendees can enjoy the blooming lilacs. This year’s guided tours will focus on the park’s restoration history after liberation from Nazi occupation. Lectures will discuss fragrances created during the Siege of Leningrad.

Elagin Island will host outdoor film screenings as part of the “Lenfilm-Club” film festival from June 6-8. The festival will also include meetings with directors.

The Faberge Museum presents the “Open World” exhibition, showcasing contemporary art from the Perm region, alongside historical artifacts from the Bronze Age.
