A 19-year-old girl was rescued from the roof of a multi-story building in Barnaul after falling while trying to save a kitten. The incident occurred around 3:00 AM on Putilovskaya Street.

The girl was attempting to retrieve a kitten from a 13th-floor balcony when she fell and landed on the roof of a technical level located on the 10th floor. She sustained several fractures and is in moderately serious condition.

Emergency services, including medical personnel and police, responded to the scene. Rescuers used a power saw to create access to the roof where the girl was located.

The victim, who was conscious but complaining of severe leg pain, was placed on a stretcher and evacuated before being handed over to medical personnel. In a separate incident, a man was rescued from an extension of a multi-story building in Novosibirsk on Stofato Street.
