Traffic on 8 Marta Street in Yekaterinburg is closed until June 8th due to the “Movement” festival. The festival, which will take place on the weekend of June 7th and 8th, has led to the placement of stones and logs along the street in preparation for various competitions.
The street has been transformed into a track featuring obstacles constructed from giant wheels, logs, and cobblestones. This track will be used for motocross, stunt riding, and gymkhana competitions.
The road closure on 8 Marta Street began on June 4th to allow for the necessary preparations for the festival.
The “Movement” festival is not limited to Yekaterinburg; it will also be held in Verkhnyaya Pyshma. All festival activities are free to attend.
Besides the motorcycle show, the “Movement” festival offers a diverse program including lectures, a gastronomic festival, and concerts. Performers include Naik Borzov, “Night Snipers”, “Room of Culture”, and “Zatochka”. The complete festival program is available online.
The “Ploshchad 1905 Goda” metro station will operate with modified entry and exit arrangements during the festival. One pavilion will be designated solely for entry, and the other solely for exit.
