Russian beaches will prohibit vacationers from bringing animals, with the exception of specially trained dogs. This regulation is outlined in a draft order from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The draft order, published on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts on June 6, specifies several prohibitions for beach visitors. Bringing animals to the beach, excluding guide dogs, is among the listed restrictions. Other prohibited activities include swimming beyond buoys, swimming while intoxicated or on unintended objects, misusing beach equipment, engaging in sports games outside designated areas, and leaving children unattended.
The new regulations are slated to take effect on September 1, 2025, and remain in force until 2031. Notably, the draft order does not specify penalties for those who violate the outlined rules.
