Novosibirsk Zoo’s manul kittens are venturing outside and displaying bolder behavior. Two female manuls, Mia and Snezhinka, gave birth this year, resulting in a delightful increase in the manul population.

Snezhinka, one of the mothers, cautiously assessed the surroundings before permitting her kittens to explore the outside world. The adorable kittens, still sporting blue eyes, are gradually gaining confidence.

A video captured by a zoo visitor, Sergei Iltyakov, showcases the kittens’ playful antics near their den. The young manuls’ playful interactions are centered around the entrance of their enclosure and a nearby bowl.
