St. Petersburg is bracing for rain this afternoon as an atmospheric front moves through the region. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of +22 to +24 degrees Celsius, accompanied by a light south wind.
According to the city’s chief meteorologist, Alexander Kolesov, the rain is anticipated to arrive between 1 PM and 3 PM. Kolesov hopes that the precipitation will cease by nightfall as the atmospheric front continues its eastward trajectory.
The approaching precipitation zone is currently visible on Yandex Maps, stretching from Tallinn and Helsinki along the Gulf of Finland towards St. Petersburg.
