The 12th Trans-Baikal International Film Festival (12+) commenced on June 5th in Chita, Russia. The opening ceremony featured a traditional “bagulovaya” (rhododendron) path, welcoming guests and participants.

The event was attended by prominent figures, including the Governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory, Alexander Osipov, who greeted the attendees. Actors Agata Muceniece and Georgy Peradze served as the hosts for the evening.

The festival’s president, Alexander Mikhailov, was present with his wife, Oksana, and daughter, Miroslava. Viktor Shkulev, Chairman of the Organizing Committee and President of Shkulev Holding, and Mikhail Salkov, General Director of Bystrinsky GOK, also attended the opening.

The jury for the film festival includes Vladimir Khotinenko as Chairman, accompanied by his wife, Tatyana Yakovleva. Other jury members are actress Daria Ekamasova and director Pushpendra Singh from India.

Numerous actors, directors, and film industry professionals graced the occasion, including Victoria Zabolotnaya, Dragan Milinkovic Fimon, Boris Smolkin, Olga Prokofieva, Gosha Kutsenko, Yulia Pak, Georgy Martirosyan, Svetlana Permyakova, Lilia Savina, Andrey Sokolov, Evgeny Dyatlov, Daria Travnikova, Galina Danilova, Eduard Radzyukevich, Anna Ardova, Yuri Obukhov, Yuri Nazarov, Polina Nechitailo, Elena Zakharova, Dmitry Averin, Anna Nabatova, Ekaterina Vulichenko, Oleg Maslennikov-Voitov, Natalia Wagonova, Semyon Strugachev, Dmitry Pavlenko, Natalia Seliverstova, Andrey Kozlov, Ekaterina Tsareva, Nikolai Ryabukha, Daria Ryabukha, Vitaly Perminov, Vladimir Titov, Andrzej Petras, Anastasia Razlogova, Irina Levasheva, and Alexandra Ozheretskaya. The “New Look” Jury was also present.

The 12th Trans-Baikal International Film Festival, scheduled from June 4th to 9th, is supported by major businesses operating in the Trans-Baikal region. Bystrinsky GOK is the general partner of the festival, with Highland Gold Group of Companies also among the partners.
