The XXXI International Street Theater Festival will transform Arkhangelsk into a vibrant stage from June 26 to 29, showcasing artists from Russia and Belarus. City squares and embankments will host a variety of performances.

The festival kicks off with pre-opening performances on June 26, with the official opening ceremony taking place on June 27.

Fifteen groups from various cities including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Rostov-on-Don, and Vitebsk are set to participate. Among the headliners are Attaque de panique from St. Petersburg, a conceptual amateur choir; Baraband from Vitebsk, known for their energetic drum shows; and Zlye Ryby from Moscow, who will present a fire and pyrotechnics performance to close the festival.

A carnival procession along the embankment and open-air evening performances at five locations are planned for this year’s festival.

For aspiring artists, an educational program will offer classes and masterclasses led by experienced street theater professionals. Participation is open to everyone.

Admission to all festival events is free.
