A man who opened fire on the Rezh Tract in Russia has been apprehended by police. The suspect, identified as Saprykin, has a prior criminal record with multiple convictions for serious offenses.
Police swiftly located and detained Saprykin after the incident. The weapon used was determined to be a blank-firing pistol that used noise cartridges.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Hooliganism”). Saprykin is currently being held in a temporary detention center and authorities are seeking his arrest.
Eyewitnesses reported that the driver had a tattoo affiliated with the Wagner PMC. Shell casings were found at the scene near the vehicle.
This incident is not the first of its kind in the area. Last summer, a man in Yekaterinburg was detained after attempting to abduct women into a Range Rover and subsequently firing a weapon. The individual, identified as Azimov, was later fined 400,000 rubles.
