Italian singers Al Bano and Iva Zanicchi will headline a concert on Palace Square during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025). The performance is slated for June 20, as part of the forum’s cultural program.
SPIEF-2025, scheduled from June 18 to 21 in St. Petersburg, will feature European business participation, including Italian companies.
The cultural events are being organized in collaboration with the Italian association “poznayem Evraziyu”.
Al Bano, known for his affinity for Russia and his support for Russian-Italian relations, and Iva Zanicchi, a three-time Sanremo Music Festival winner, are expected to draw a large audience.
Organizers emphasize that their participation highlights the strength of cultural exchange, which bridges divides even during challenging periods.
The forum’s business agenda will focus on international collaboration, particularly during the Day of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses.
A session titled “The Geopolitical Situation and the New Reality for International Business with Russia” will address the challenges and opportunities facing European companies operating in Russia. Alexey Bobrovsky will moderate the session.
The overarching theme of SPIEF-2025 is “Common Values – the Basis for Growth in a Multipolar World.” Bahrain will be the guest country at the forum, with visits expected from the President of Indonesia and a delegation from Saudi Arabia.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has extended an invitation to entrepreneurs from Vietnam to attend SPIEF-2025. There is also reported interest from American companies in participating.
President Vladimir Putin is also scheduled to attend the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2025.
