18 Open-Air Swimming Pools to Open in Moscow on First Day of Summer

Eighteen open-air swimming pools are set to open in Moscow on June 1st, offering residents and visitors opportunities for swimming and relaxation throughout the summer. The pools will be located in various parks and festival venues across the city.

The swimming pools will be available at multiple locations, including festival venues in Zelenograd, Kurkino, Koptevo, near Nekrasovka metro station, near Alma-Atinskaya metro station, on Pererva Street, in Golyanovo, in Teply Stan, in Veshnyaki, on Sukhonskaya Street, in Serebryakova passage, and on Michurinsky Prospekt. Additionally, pools will be located in Mitino Landscape Park, Park of the 50th Anniversary of October, Khodynskoe Pole Park, Dubki Park, Sokolniki Park, and Krasnaya Presnya Park.

Pricing for the swimming pool sessions varies based on the time of day, day of the week, and session duration. A 90-minute session from 9:00 to 10:30 costs 700 rubles on weekdays for adults and children over 12, and 1000 rubles on weekends and holidays. Three-hour sessions from 11:00 to 14:00, 14:30 to 17:30, and 18:00 to 21:00 cost 1500 rubles on weekdays and 2000 rubles on weekends and holidays for the same age group.

Children and privileged categories of Muscovites receive a 50% discount on all sessions. The entrance ticket includes swimming access, use of a deck chair with an umbrella, access to related infrastructure, and a free locker for personal belongings.

Additional services are available, such as an entrance ticket that includes the use of a double sunbed, priced at 5000 rubles for all categories, regardless of the session time or day of the week. This option is available in Mitino Park, Parks of the 50th Anniversary of October, Khodynskoe Pole, and Krasnaya Presnya. Visitors can also rent towels, buy disposable slippers, and purchase inflatable armbands for an additional fee.
