The “Consonance of Kenozerye” festival, a fusion of electronic music and traditional culture, will take place from July 4 to 7 in Maselga village, located within the Arkhangelsk region’s Kenozersky National Park. Attendees can anticipate folklore performances, immersive master classes, and a vibrant celebration of Ivan Kupala Day.

The festival’s highlight will be the large-scale celebration of Ivan Kupala Day on the night of July 6-7. Participants can engage in weaving traditional wreaths, ancient youth games, round dances, and fortune-telling rooted in northern customs. A fair showcasing folk crafts and a food court featuring northern cuisine will also be available.

This year’s event features nighttime open-air parties with renowned Russian DJs and folklore concerts showcasing ethnic groups from the Arkhangelsk region and beyond. Special folktronica sets, which blend folk motifs with electronic arrangements, are also planned.

Beyond the musical performances, the festival will offer excursions along the protected paths of Kenozerye. Master classes in folk crafts, water activities on the lakes, and sports grounds for outdoor activities are also planned. The festival will conclude with a concert featuring the groups “Istoki,” “Suzyomye,” KHVOYA, LILOVA, and DJs playing folktronica music.

Festival-goers can choose between package participation for all days or tickets specifically for the “Ivan Kupala Day” ethnographic program and the gala concert. Accommodation is paid separately, with options including hotels, guest houses, tent camping, and auto-camping.
