A 75-year-old St. Petersburg resident has been detained for distributing child pornography. The individual is accused of sharing images and videos of minors with others online.

The arrest was made by officers from the Criminal Investigation Department’s “children’s” unit. The suspect is accused of actively forwarding pornography featuring minors to his friend.

A criminal case has been initiated and the man is currently under a travel ban. During a search of his residence, authorities seized a laptop containing evidence related to the case.

This arrest follows the detention of a milling machine operator and a church worker in May, who were also charged with distributing pornography.
