Parking violations in the Pervomaisky district of Novosibirsk have resulted in fines totaling 570,000 rubles, with 115,000 rubles already collected. Since the beginning of the year, 245 parking violators have been identified in the district.
The fines are a result of violations detected by the “ParkNet-M” system, which has been operational in the Pervomaisky district since 2024. The system was initially installed in the Kirovsky district.
According to the mayor’s office, the most frequent violation is parking on lawns.
Evgeny Dmitriev, acting first deputy head of the Pervomaisky district administration, stated that they are addressing the issue of vehicles parking in green areas, which often leads to the destruction of the vegetation. He expressed confidence that the number of such instances would decrease over the summer as drivers become less willing to pay fines.
The mayor’s office also noted that many drivers are attempting to contest the fines. The penalty for individual citizens ranges from 2,000 to 3,000 rubles, while officials and legal entities face fines of up to 20,000 rubles.
