A major truck accident on the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD) near the Razvilka settlement has resulted in significant traffic congestion. The accident occurred on the morning of August 1st, impacting traffic flow for several hours.
The collision took place on the inner side of the 24th kilometer of the MKAD, close to exit number 25 near the village of Razvilka in the Leninsky district. Emergency services are currently at the scene.
The Moscow Prosecutor’s Office has confirmed that there are victims as a result of the accident, and they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Traffic remains heavily congested in all directions from interchange number 25, even four hours after the accident. The most extensive traffic jam stretches northeast from the accident site along the MKAD.
Prior to this incident, three pedestrians were struck by a foreign car while crossing the road at a traffic light on Gerasim Kurin Street in Moscow. The injured pedestrians were transported by air ambulance.
