Over 50 kilometers of roads in the Moscow region will be closed this weekend, August 2nd and 3rd, due to a cycling race. The closures will affect three highways, impacting traffic flow and bus routes.
On Sunday, August 3rd, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, two road sections will be closed: the “Ruza – Klementyevo – Teterino” road and the “Ruza – Vorontsovo – Teterino” road in the Ruzsky and Mozhaisky districts. Motorists traveling to Mozhaisk or Ruza are advised to use the Minsk highway and the A-108 highway as alternative routes.
Specifically, on Saturday, August 2nd, the section of the road “Tishino – Lukino – Gorbovo – Fedotovo” in the Ruzsky district will be closed from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Drivers are advised to bypass the closures at the specified time through the city of Ruza and the A-108 highway.
Additionally, four bus routes will be temporarily suspended on August 3rd during the cycling race: Route No. 26 “Mozhaisk – Nastasyino,” Route No. 41 “Ruza – Mozhaisk,” Route No. 46 “Mozhaisk – Pereshchapovo,” and Route No. 48 “Ruza – Klementyevo – Mozhaisk.”
