Ekaterinburg August Events: A Guide to Spending the Last Month of Summer

Ekaterinburg is offering a wide array of events throughout August to help residents and visitors make the most of the final month of summer. From music festivals to city-wide celebrations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Several festivals will kick off the month, offering diverse experiences both within and outside the city limits.

Music enthusiasts can attend the “Listen” festival in the Summer Theater, while those seeking a rural escape can head to Maly Turysh for the “In the Middle of Nowhere” festival, featuring a performance by actress Yulia Peresild with the MANDRAGORA group.

Younger crowds can enjoy the Staya Pool party at Cuba Cuba beach.

On August 9, the “Tele-Club” summer venue will host the Random Fest festival, showcasing performances by OG Buda, MAYOT, Toxi$, 163ONMYNECK, Inst Rinna, Baby Cute, and others.

Coinciding with Random Fest on August 9, Builder’s Day will be celebrated in the Historical Square, culminating in a free concert by Dima Bilan.

Egor Kreed will perform a solo concert on August 15 at “Expo,” after a venue change from “Ekaterinburg Arena.”

The highlight of the summer is City Day on August 16, with Mot, Lesha Svik, Gayazovs Brothers, Big Baby Tape, and Jakone & Kiliana performing for free on Arkhangela Mikhaila Street.

The month concludes with the free Grott Fest festival on Mount Uktus, featuring rapper “9 GRAMM” as the headliner, along with snowboarder performances, master classes, and a food court.
