St. Petersburg Weather Forecast: August Begins Hot, Followed by Cooling and Rain

St. Petersburg is set to experience a shift in weather patterns, transitioning from hot conditions to cooler temperatures and rain. The change is expected to begin tomorrow, August 1st, according to the Federal State Budgetary Institution “North-West Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring”.

The forecast for August 1st predicts variable cloudiness, brief rains, and thunderstorms throughout the city. Showers are also expected in some areas during the day.

While the morning temperature at 6 a.m. was recorded at +19.3 degrees Celsius, daytime temperatures are expected to reach +28 to +30 degrees Celsius. Moderate winds are anticipated during the day, with strong gusts possible during thunderstorms. Atmospheric pressure is expected to decrease.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday, August 2nd, will bring temperatures of +23 to +25 degrees Celsius, along with brief rains, heavy showers in some locations, thunderstorms, and a possibility of hail. Sunday, August 3rd, is forecasted to have temperatures between +25 and +27 degrees Celsius, with brief rain in some areas at night but no significant precipitation during the day.
