The Committee for the Protection of Monuments has approved the construction of a training complex as part of the expansion of Zenit’s base on Akkuratova Street, north of Udelny Park. The information was released on July 31 on the KGIOP website.

Gazprom Social Infrastructure Development LLC is the client for the project.

The planned training sports complex will include a football field, an administrative and household building, a checkpoint, a transformer substation, local treatment facilities, modular prefabricated stands with a canopy for 350 seats, and covered benches for two teams of 16 seats each. The building will reach a height of 20 meters.

The expansion of Zenit’s training base is part of the cooperation roadmap between Smolny and Gazprom, signed in 2022 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
