A traffic accident in the Maiminsky district of the Altai Republic on the evening of July 31st resulted in injuries to a family from Novosibirsk. The incident occurred near the village of Kyzyl-Ozek.

The collision involved a GAZ vehicle driven by a 48-year-old local resident and a Skoda Octavia driven by a 45-year-old resident of Novosibirsk. The driver of the GAZ vehicle reportedly lost control and entered the oncoming lane, leading to the crash.

The driver of the Skoda and his four passengers, including three children aged 13, 14, and 16, sustained injuries and were transported to the republican hospital.

Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
