Overnight drone attacks across multiple Russian regions resulted in transportation delays, fires, and gas supply issues. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 32 Ukrainian drones were destroyed.
The Volgograd region experienced disruptions to gas supply and railway traffic due to falling debris. Governor Andrei Bocharov stated that air defense forces repelled a massive UAV attack on transport and energy facilities. While there were no casualties, fires ignited in the Surovikino district, which fire services quickly extinguished. Approximately 65 private households in the Kotelnikovo district faced gas supply disruptions, and specialists are working to resolve the issue. Russian Railways reported that traffic was suspended on the Kotelnikovo–Kanalnaya section due to debris on railway infrastructure, leading to delays for two long-distance passenger trains and one suburban train. Sappers are currently working at the site, and according to the governor, the tracks sustained no damage.
The Voronezh and Belgorod regions also faced UAV threats, with announcements of a UAV danger mode, although no casualties or destruction were reported. In the Rostov region, a forest plantation near the M-4 “Don” highway caught fire near the village of Kamenka and the Semichny farm. The fire has been extinguished, and there were no injuries.
An attack on an industrial enterprise in the Penza region caused a fire, but no casualties or destruction were reported. Governor Oleg Melnichenko, who is at the scene, stated that emergency response services are working to extinguish the fire. Temporary restrictions on mobile internet are in effect in the region for security purposes. Rosaviatsia also announced temporary restrictions on the reception and departure of aircraft at the Saratov airport, although local authorities have not reported on drone activity.
