A fire in a communal apartment in St. Petersburg’s Kalininsky district resulted in one woman being hospitalized on July 30. The incident occurred at house number 31 on Demyan Bedny Street, prompting a response from the city’s Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The fire was reported at 22:58 local time. The blaze affected the furnishings within the eight-room communal apartment, covering an area of 2 square meters.
Although the fire was extinguished before the arrival of rescue personnel, fifteen members of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and three pieces of equipment were dispatched to the scene as a precautionary measure.
A woman sustained injuries as a result of the fire and was subsequently transported to a medical facility for treatment.
