The MKU Emergency Rescue Service emphasizes that the Yugo-Zapadny quarry is particularly hazardous due to its sudden depth changes and fluctuating water temperatures. These conditions can pose a significant risk to swimmers.

Separately, the search continues for a 48-year-old man who fell from a SUP board into the Novosibirsk reservoir in Berdsk. Authorities are still working to locate him.
