A 17-year-old teenager who went missing in the Kochenevo workers’ settlement has been found dead. The LizaAlert search and rescue team in the Novosibirsk region confirmed the tragic news.

The boy disappeared on July 23rd. He left his home at approximately 6:00 PM and did not return. His mother discovered his absence when she went to call him and noticed his running shoes were missing.

Family members stated this was out of character. The teenager had no history of running away and possessed no known bad habits. After his disappearance, he ceased all communication, ignoring phone calls, text messages, and abstaining from social media activity.

Extensive search efforts were launched, including the use of aviation and drones. The search plane covered 308 kilometers, while the drones captured 1,200 images.

All-terrain vehicles traversed nearly 200 kilometers in the search. The search parties consisted of 80 people on the first day, 114 on the second, 87 on the third, 92 on the fourth, and 59 on the fifth day.

A mounted search group also participated, covering almost 20 kilometers of challenging terrain.
