Flute Teacher from Yugra Builds Successful Cleaning Business

Yana, a flute teacher from Pytyakh, Yugra, has successfully built a cleaning business after starting with just two clients. Despite now being a mother of multiple children, she continues to manage the business and take orders.

Stankova started the business by herself, advertising her services online at symbolic prices to make ends meet during a difficult period. As demand grew, she realized the potential for a viable business.

In 2021, Yana secured a social contract with the local administration, receiving benefits to launch her venture. She invested in professional equipment and supplies, and began offering part-time work to friends. Within a year and a half, she had built a team of 18 employees.

During peak seasons like spring and summer, employees could earn between 7,000 and 10,000 rubles per order, though some smaller jobs paid around 3,500 rubles. After covering all expenses, including salaries, taxes, equipment depreciation, and supplies, Yana’s net profit averaged 150,000 to 200,000 rubles per month.

Yana highlights the challenges of the cleaning business, including dealing with difficult and unpleasant situations, such as cleaning apartments after tragic events or those severely cluttered. She emphasized that such assignments were voluntary for her team, and she herself was not squeamish about handling them.

The pricing of cleaning services depends on several factors, including the size of the space. A complete cleaning of a one-room apartment can cost between 15,000 and 20,000 rubles. She clarified that deep cleaning is essential for optimal results, emphasizing that superficial cleaning will not suffice.

Currently on maternity leave, Yana continues to take individual orders while her cleaning team works freelance. She explained that this allows her to balance work with family responsibilities.
