A 38-year-old foreign national has been arrested in Khimki, Moscow region, after attempting to rob a young woman on the street. The victim bravely fought back, recovering her stolen phone and leading to the suspect’s swift apprehension.

The incident unfolded when the suspect approached the woman at a bus stop and forcibly snatched her phone before fleeing. Undeterred, the woman pursued the thief, successfully tackling him to the ground and retrieving her device. A bystander then intervened, further deterring the suspect before the woman reported the incident to the police.

Law enforcement quickly located and detained the suspect in a nearby courtyard. He has been identified as a 38-year-old man from a neighboring country. Authorities have initiated a criminal case, and the suspect is currently in custody.
