Fifteen workers are being rescued from a burning building under construction in Moscow by EMERCOM employees. The fire broke out at a multi-story construction site located at 85 Bolshaya Akademicheskaya Street.

Firefighters arrived to find the first floor engulfed in flames, with thick smoke filling the upper levels.

The trapped workers were located on the 12th, 14th, and 19th floors, unable to evacuate on their own. According to recent reports, nine workers have been successfully rescued and evacuated from the 12th and 14th floors. The rescue operation for the remaining five workers is currently underway.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
