Two young men in Novosibirsk have been detained following the robbery of a 21-year-old man. The suspects, aged 18 and 20, allegedly attacked the victim near his home on Vertkovskaya Street, stealing his mobile phone and wristwatch. The total value of the stolen items is estimated at 15,000 rubles.

The incident was captured on video, which aided law enforcement in quickly identifying and apprehending the suspects. Both individuals are residents of the Kirovsky district and have no prior criminal record.

A criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which deals with robbery. Authorities are currently deciding on a preventive measure for the suspects as the investigation continues.

Prior to this incident, local news reported a separate case in Novosibirsk involving residents who beat a man and stole his car, subsequently crashing into a bus stop during a police chase.
