Two young individuals from Khimki, an 18-year-old male and a female, have been apprehended in Moscow on suspicion of stealing a branded bag containing money. According to the Central Administrative District Police Department’s press service, the incident occurred near a shopping complex on Novoryazanskaya Street.

The suspects allegedly found an unattended bag, which the female suspect picked up before both fled the scene. A 28-year-old Moscow resident reported the loss to the police, stating that the bag, a well-known brand valued at 270,000 rubles, contained 35,000 rubles, bringing the total loss to 305,000 rubles.

During questioning, the detained individuals confessed to spending the money and discarding the bag. They apparently did not recognize the value of the stolen accessory. A criminal case has been initiated, and the suspects have been released under a pledge not to leave the area.
