A 35-year-old motorcyclist is in stable condition after being struck and run over by a white Rolls-Royce on Peterhofskoye Shosse on the evening of May 31st. Doctors have assessed his condition as moderately severe.

The incident occurred when a 37-year-old businessman driving the Rolls-Royce allegedly made an illegal U-turn across a double solid line. The motorcyclist was traveling in the same direction when he was hit.

Currently, the motorcyclist is in the combined trauma unit and is being prepared for shoulder surgery. He did not require resuscitation.

Following the incident, eyewitnesses reported that attempts were made to conceal the license plates of the Rolls-Royce.

Police have initiated a criminal case concerning the violation of traffic regulations and vehicle operation (Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Additionally, the Investigative Committee is examining a case of attempted murder.

The driver of the Rolls-Royce has been taken into custody.
