Svetlana Zakharova, formerly known as Svetlana Ivanova, the ex-wife of ex-Deputy Minister of Defense Timur Ivanov, has officially changed her last name back to Zakharova and updated her information in the register of individual entrepreneurs. This change was documented in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities on May 18, 2025.

Zakharova is the founder of Private Technologies LLC, an advertising agency, where she holds a one-third share, according to the BIR-Analyst service.

She also had a 27.5% stake in Kristall Development from 2012 to 2024. Currently, Vadim Ivanov, the father of the former Deputy Minister, is the sole owner of Kristall Development.

Svetlana Zakharova and Timur Ivanov were married from 2010 to 2022.

Timur Ivanov was arrested in April 2024 and is currently in pre-trial detention, facing charges of large-scale bribery. According to his lawyer, the investigation estimates the bribes to total one billion rubles. Ivanov denies any wrongdoing. The case is currently being heard in court, amidst disputes regarding state secrets.
