Changes in Train Services Affect Tomsk-Novosibirsk Route

A new train service will maintain passenger transportation between Tomsk and Novosibirsk despite the cancellation of a previous route.

The Kuzbass-Prigorod company will stop operating train No. 869/870 on the Tomsk – Novosibirsk route starting August 3rd, according to the West Siberian Railway press service.

However, a new train, No. 309/310, will begin running on the Novokuznetsk – Novosibirsk route from August 2nd, with a stop in Tomsk. This ensures continued passenger transport between Tomsk and Novosibirsk. The train will operate every other day.

The schedule includes a 16:58 departure from Novokuznetsk station, arriving at Tomsk-2 station the next day at 5:25. It departs Tomsk-2 station at 6:35, arriving at Novosibirsk-Glavny station at 11:22.

In the opposite direction, the train departs from Novosibirsk-Glavny at 17:30, arriving in Tomsk-2 at 22:13. It then leaves Tomsk-2 at 23:55 and arrives in Novokuznetsk the next day at 11:49 local time.

Authorities have confirmed that long-distance trains will continue to operate on the Tomsk-Novosibirsk route.
