Novosibirsk is gearing up for a vibrant Children’s Day on June 1st, featuring a wide array of free and ticketed events across the city. Families can look forward to diverse activities ranging from entertainment in parks and museums to concerts and educational programs.
The Novosibirsk Zoo will offer free admission to children under 16 from 10:00 to 13:00, with a packed program including photo zones, acrobatic and dance performances, environmental quizzes, creative workshops, a foam party, and a pirate show. Additionally, visitors can enjoy soap bubbles, a magician, a floating mirror show, and a performance by the Mens Band cover band at 20:00.
For those interested in safety education, the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Novosibirsk Region will open a safety town in front of the Globus Theater at 10:30. Children will learn about safety rules and see rescuers’ equipment, with a drawing contest and a performance by the Ministry of Emergency Situations ensemble “Iskorka.”
Other highlights include the opening of the children’s railway at Zayeltsovsky Park, the “Movement of the First” festival at Arena Park featuring the headliner Blizkey, and a space marathon at the Planetarium. The Directorate of City Parks has scheduled festive programs in all city parks, and various museums and concert halls will host special events.
