ASVT Customers Complain About Internet Outage Impacting Daily Life

Tens of thousands of residents in Moscow and the Moscow region are experiencing a fifth day without internet service due to a widespread outage affecting the ASVT provider. This disruption is impacting daily routines, from accessing online services to making purchases in stores.

The ASVT provider acknowledges the ongoing issues and attributes them to a significant DDoS attack, stating that specialists are working to restore stable network operation. The company has not provided a specific timeline for full service restoration but asks for patience and understanding.

Residents report being unable to pay for goods with cards due to malfunctioning terminals, forcing them to rely on cash. The lack of internet also disrupts television services and other essential online activities. Some residents are using mobile data, incurring additional expenses.

Affected residential complexes include “Danish Quarter”, “Western Kuntsevo”, “Novovatutinsky”, and “Skolkovsky”. Residents express frustration with the lack of communication from the provider and uncertainty about potential service recalculations.

ASVT’s ownership structure is somewhat opaque, with the last disclosure of affiliated persons dating back to 2017. At that time, a significant portion of shares was held by the current director, Irina Fedulova, and other individuals and entities.
