A migrant worker has been detained in the Moscow region on suspicion of causing the death of a 13-year-old boy after the teenager was caught in a cultivator attached to a tractor. The suspect is accused of attempting to conceal the death by disposing of the body in a river.

The incident occurred in the Dmitrovsky urban district of the Moscow region. According to the investigation, the teenager was run over by the tractor, becoming entangled in the moving parts of the cultivator. The boy died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

Instead of reporting the accident, the tractor driver allegedly threw the child’s body into a river. The body was recovered six days later.

Police apprehended the suspect shortly after the discovery. The suspect is now in custody, and authorities are determining the appropriate preventive measure.
